The Company’s operations, conducted continuously since February 20, 1945, have always been related to hard coal. Currently, we focus on four main areas: wholesale and retail sales of coal, storage and warehousing of goods at the Storage Facility, sales of mining materials, and rental and management of our own real estate.

CZW “Węglozbyt” S.A. offers Polish thermal coal produced by the largest domestic producers, supplying it to power plants, combined heat and power plants, heating plants, industrial plants, and individual customers.
Coal Storage Facility
The Company’s flagship facility is the Coal Storage Yard in Ostrów Wielkopolski – one of the largest and most modern in Europe. Covering an area of 42 hectares, it can hold up to 1.5 million tons of coal and other bulk materials. It has a railway siding, a modern unloading system with a B1000 conveyor belt, specialized handling equipment, and road infrastructure. Continuous investments, including the construction of a fire protection reservoir, modernization of tracks, development of the machine park, and implementation of monitoring with drones and artificial intelligence, confirm the Company’s modern and responsible approach to infrastructure and process management.
