CZW “Węglozbyt” S.A. offers Polish thermal coal: fuel coal and fine coal assortments from, among others, Węglokoks Kraj S.A., Polska Grupa Górnicza S.A., Południowy Koncern Węglowy S.A., and Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. CZW “Węglozbyt” S.A.’s customers in the coal sales sector include both end users (power plants, heating plants, industrial customers, entrepreneurs and individual customers) as well as companies acting as intermediaries in the trade. The company cooperates with its customers on the basis of sales contracts or orders, offering direct collection of coal from mines (optionally with transport) as well as from its own coal storage facility in Ostrów Wielkopolski, where both wholesale and retail sales of coal are conducted. The company is an authorized seller of the largest Polish coal producers, as well as a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Polish Coal Sellers and the Mining Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Services at the storage site in Ostrów Wielkopolski
The company provides coal storage and logistics services at one of the largest storage facilities in Europe. The storage facility has its own railway siding with direct access to the railway line and is well connected to national roads No. 11, 25, and 36. The storage yard covers an area of approx. 42 ha (including approx. 6 ha of concrete-paved surface), while the nominal capacity of the storage yards is approx. 1.5 million tons of bulk material. CZW “Węglozbyt” S.A. is prepared to provide unloading, storage, and loading services for bulk materials delivered to the storage yard (coal, coke, biomass, stone, sand, gravel, etc.) onto railway wagons or trucks. The company also offers additional logistics services, including sorting, crushing, screening, mixing, packaging, and truck weighing.
Investment works, material deliveries, and equipment and repair services
An important pillar of the company’s activities is supplying the mining sector with materials and goods. The main contractors of CZW “Węglozbyt” S.A. are leading manufacturers and suppliers of goods for the mining industry. Thanks to its established brand and experience, CZW “Węglozbyt” S.A. benefits from favorable trading conditions, credibility, and a high reputation. The company currently specializes in the supply of specific materials, such as hydraulic control components, drill rig mountings, and other mining equipment.
Leasing of office and commercial space
The company offers office space for rent in its office building in Katowice (at 30 Kościuszki Street). The total usable area of the building exceeds 6,000 m², of which over 80% is available for rent.
